British Bangla Welfare Trust distributes Eid gifts in Jamalganj

Ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the British Bangla Welfare Trust has distributed Eid gifts among the helpless, distressed and disabled people in Sachna Bazar Union of Jamalganj Upazila.
The program was held at Shermostapur School Grounds on Saturday (March 14) afternoon. Sarees, three-pieces and lungis were distributed among more than fifty helpless, distressed and disabled people under the program. The beneficiaries were happy to receive new clothes on the occasion of Eid. Under the initiative of British Bangla Welfare Trust founder and UK BNP member secretary Khasruzzaman Khasru, various humanitarian programs are being conducted across the country every year to stand by the helpless people during various disasters and religious festivals. In continuation of this, this time, this Eid gift was distributed through the trust in Jamalganj with the cooperation of UK BNP leader Arif Al Mahfuz. The entire program was completed in an orderly manner with the help of about 10 volunteers of the trust. The beneficiaries, after receiving the Eid gifts, said, "We are neglected people of the society. We are very happy that new clothes were gifted to us keeping our words in mind. This time we will be able to celebrate Eid wearing new clothes. May Allah reward everyone involved in this great initiative with good results."
